Jackson-Reed Boys Soccer team dominates the field in DC and anywhere else they play. They have been DCIAA champions for many years. DCIAA 2023-2024 Champions!
Our Boys Varsity and JV Soccer team tryouts for 2024-2025 will take place August 19th through August 23rd from 6:00am-8:00am at our JRHS Stadium.
All student-athletes, please make sure to have you Student Eligibility Paperwork complete prior to tryouts. (link on home page)

Jean-Claude Nkongolo
Head Coach - Varsity Boys Soccer
My name is Jean-Claude Nkongolo and I am the Head Coach for Varsity Boys Soccer at Woodrow Wilson High school. I have played soccer most of my life. I have acquired my soccer experience in Europe, especially in France where I lived and played soccer up to the second division level .I am delighted to have your son our soccer program. I am looking forward to a very exciting and successful year. My goal is to provide your child with an educationally challenging, engaging, but fun, experience in our soccer team. I have high expectations for your son and I will do everything to help your child become a skillful, tactical, disciplined, and physical soccer player!

Head Coach - JV Boys Soccer
Hi! My name is Michael Kulpa and I am the Coach of the JV Boys soccer team at Wilson. This is my 4th year as the JV’s head coach. I am a lifelong soccer player, student, and enthusiast of the game. I am originally from Dearborn MI, a suburb of Detroit and have lived in DC for 7 years now. I am a DCPS teacher who works with students who are blind, and I am also involved in Special Olympics soccer.

Hi! My name is Coach Danny and I am the Assistant Boys Soccer Coach team at Jackson-Reed. This will be my second year assisting Coach Nkongolo. I am excited to see the development of our players and the game. I am a DCPS teacher who works with students throughout the year.
